October – Winter Warm Up – cold weather gear: hats, scarves, gloves, socks Serving Our Senior
 
November – Your Community Outreach team is collecting food items for November’s spotlight beneficiary, I Can Still Shine. Thanksgiving Dinner baskets will be provided to approximately 75 families this holiday. You can help by either purchasing some food items or by making a monetary donation on the luncheon registration page. 
 
Here is a list of needed food items:
150 cans each of green beans and corn
75 each of dinner roll packages, instant potatoes, jars of turkey gravy, boxes of dressing/stuffing mix, cans of cream mushroom soup, packages of crispy fried onions

Items can be brought to the SWC November Luncheon on November 13th at The Westin Southlake, or contact Josie Spence or Stephanie Hodges for other options.

December – The Gifting Project, The Archway & The WARM Place.  There is an Amazon Wishlist link to shop for angels for The Gifting Project that will be delivered directly to them. If you would like to shop in person for your donation, please return your gifts no later than at our monthly luncheon on December 12th. Most requested items include: Throw blankets for teens, LEGOs for all ages/genders, sports balls of ANY kind, & art/craft kits for all ages/genders. If you are unable to join us for the luncheon, you may drop off your gifts at Stephanie Hodges’ home. For those of you that would prefer to make a cash donation, please do so on the luncheon registration page and we are happy to shop for you.

January – Food Drive. Several of our beneficiaries have empty food shelves after the holiday season but help families year-round. Metroport Meals on Wheels, Christ’s Haven

February – Traditional Senior Valentine Luncheon

March – Diapers and Wipes

April – AITS support

May – Several of our beneficiaries hold summer camps. Any residual monies from the December raffle that remain will be distributed to one or more of them in support of their camps. TBD closer to summer.
